Team Updates
We would like to thank Vanessa Adão, Alli Cost, Kimberly Fisher and Courtenay Siegfried for joining The Sassy Six team as the second round of contributors. We will miss our weekly conversations with our first quarter of Sassy ladies, Sarah Johnson, Veronica Luna, Anna Lutey, but they are always welcome to guest post as they please. Maya May, one of the co-founders of The Sassy Six, will be participating as a guest contributor indefinitely so she can focus her efforts on running Spanglish Exchange, which was recently featured in Forbes Magazine, and on balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood. We sincerely appreciate our ever-growing guest contributing team and our editors Kristian Rose-Anderson and Jen Clay. We are blessed to have an amazing team of women giving so generously of themselves and sharing their insight and experiences with our online community.

The Sassy Six continues to honor, inspire and empower women through clever conversation and killer collaboration; however, in recent months, we have clarified our scope as a worldwide network of entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizers, business owners, freelancers, consultants, creators, innovators and leaders. We are working hard to provide a platform that reflects our belief that collaboration is a force more powerful than competition.
The blog categories have been restructured to focus more on supporting your career goals, all of which can be found in the “Business & Nonprofit” and the “Resources” sections. Our “Lifestyle & Wellness” section is designed to help you flourish in all areas of your life, including travel, fitness, relationships, finances, community and environment.
As a new addition this quarter, “Taking the Plunge” is an interview series that highlights women who have chosen to follow their passions and take a big leap into entrepreneurship. These ladies share their fears, struggles, successes and joys as new entrepreneurs/nonprofit organizers. The Sassy Six looks forward to following up with these bold, inspiring ladies in a year to check on their progress. We owe it to the world to listen to our hearts and have the courage to follow our dreams. Life without passion is not an option. Rock on ladies! Go on with your bad selves!
Coming Soon
We will be launching a private “Ladies Only” club. The forum/network will serve as a platform for you and all of the other amazing, inspirational, lady hustlers to take part in “clever conversation and killer collaboration.” If you have an idea and don’t know where to start or you can’t find a solution to a problem, the forum will allow you the opportunity to consult others for support. Join the network of ladies who want to see everyone succeed. Many of us will be in the same field or have similar companies, but that doesn’t mean we have to keep all of our ideas a secret. By sharing amongst each other, we can come up with even greater ideas and faster solutions.
